Pastor Karen is a graduate of Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, and an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. She has served Kasson and Pleasant Corners United Methodist Churches for six years. Prior to coming to Kasson, she served the United Methodist Church in Pine City, MN for five years. Before entering the pastorate, she worked for Healtheast Hospice as a registered nurse. Her areas of passion are teaching, evangelism, and empowering others in ministry. Her husband, Warren, has been instrumental in the development of short term work mission trips at Kasson. Karen and Warren have two daughters. Helen is married to Jason Smith and lives in Cottage Grove. Carol currently lives and works in Casper, Wyoming. |
